Annual Public Parish Meeting

The annual public meeting will be held at Eccleshall Community Centre and will provide residents with the opportunity to find out more about the work of the Parish Council and ask questions.

There will also be additional opportunities to meet with members at the planned Community event in June.

The Annual Parish Meeting of Eccleshall Parish was held on Wednesday March 20th 2024 at the Community Centre, Shaws Lane, Eccleshall at 7.00p.m.

 

1).      Present were:-

2).        Minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting held on May 24th 2023 – The minutes, which had been previously circulated, were agreed and signed.

 

3).        Chairman’s Welcome and Report:

The Chairman welcomed all to the annual parish meeting.

 

Chairmans and Committee Reports:

It was advised that copies of the annual reports from each of the committees and the annual financial reports will be, published on the Parish Council website at https://eccleshallparishcouncil.gov.uk/finances-and-documents/general-publications/ and a hard copy will be placed in the library.

It was noted that the reports will be available for attendees to view at the upcoming Community Event on the 17th June. This is intended to be the main event for community engagement and provide the opportunity for members to talk to council members and engage with local groups to find out available activities within the parish.

 

Financial Report:

A financial report containing a summary of the accounts up to the end of February 2024 was prepared and included with the annual report pack.

There were no other reports to receive.

The meeting finished at 7.05pm
