23/20). Public Participation:-
One member of the public spoke to provide further information on application 219/31676/FUL, which summarised the planned usage of the barns as being agricultural in nature.
24/20). Minutes of the Planning Committee Meeting held on Feb 5th, 2020 –
The minutes, which had been previously circulated, were agreed and signed.
25/20). Planning Decisions of Stafford Borough/County Council:-
19/31610/HOU – Proposed two storey and single storey extension. The Cottage Doley Road Eccleshall. Approved.
26/20). Planning Applications for consideration:-
19/31676/FUL – Retrospective application for the retention of two lambing sheds constructed to replace derelict farm buildings. Villa Farm, Well Lane, High Offley. There were no objections to this application.
20/31808/FUL – Replacement dwelling with extension of residential curtilage and retention of temporary caravan. Greatwood Farmhouse, Offleybrook Road, Offleybrook. There were no objections to the application with regards to the replacement dwelling, on the condition that once the new dwelling is inhabitable, the caravan is removed and the area put back to garden.

There were no further applications to consider.
28/20). To consider the New Stafford Borough Local Plan 2020-2040:
Issues and Options report consultation:- The document was discussed at length and it was noted that extensive work will be required outside of the meeting in order to go through all of the proposals and identify those that affect Eccleshall Parish and require a response. A number of councillors agreed to review the document in order to identify the pertinent questions. It was resolved to approve printing costs for 5 hard copies of the document in order to facilitate the work. At the next meeting, the questions and any draft responses will be considered. The deadline for submission is the 31st March.
29/20). To consider the Draft Biodiversity Supplementary Planning Document issued by Stafford Borough Council:–
Cllr. Langford agreed to review the document and provide feedback on the proposals at the next meeting on the 4th March. The deadline for response is the 16th March.
30/20). Any Other Planning Matters:-
It was noted that Madeley were undergoing its Neighbourhood Plan consultation, and it was a good example of a plan. The Clerk will circulate a link to the consultation if councillors wished to view the proposal.
31/20). Correspondence:-
There was no further correspondence to note.
