You are summoned to attend a meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council, to be held at 7.30pm on Wednesday 16th September 2026 at Eccleshall Community Centre. This will be followed by a meeting of the Planning Committee.

  • To approve the recommendation to update and replace the internal mechanism with a new time side clock system

    • To receive any updates on the actions since the last meeting

 

  1. To receive any updates and consider any recommended actions arising from the Resilience Working Group meeting

 

9.      Local Government Re-organisation:

  • To note the recent announcement to the pause of plans for re-organisation pending central government review
  • Consider and start to consider any responses to the Call for Evidence request from the SPCA, who are seeking practical, member-led suggestions on the policies, powers, procedures and partnership arrangements that the new unitary councils should adopt to strengthen local democracy and improve outcomes for communities

13.   Financial Matters:

  • To accept the Financial report and bank reconciliation to 31st August 2026
  • To approve accounts for payment September 2026
  • To note agreement of the annual NJC National Salary award for the Clerk, backdated to 1st April 2026

 

14.   To request any future agenda items and confirm the date and venue for the next meeting, the Annual Meeting of the Council  –  October 21st, Offley Hay Village Hall, 7.30pm.
