October 16th 2024
A meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee was held on October 16th 2024, at Offley Hay Village Hall at 8.25pm following the Parish Council meeting.

24/39062/HOU – Two storey side extensions and front single storey extension to
garage with internal alterations. Spinneys Church Street Eccleshall. Approved.
24/38718/FUL – Proposed conversion and refurbishment of an existing vacant Public House to a residential dwelling including, change of use, demolition of an existing WC block, new extension to rear, new windows, external rendering. The Eagle Inn Horsefair Eccleshall. Approved.
23/37867/FUL – Alterations to former squash court to create single one bedroom flat. Charnes Farm House Whittington Lane Charnes Croxton. Approved.
20/32642/HOU – Two storey & single storey extensions to north west elevation (rear), re-modelling of south east elevation (front), alterations to roof, external & internal alterations and associated landscaping. Proposed new vehicular access. Proposed removal of existing vehicular access
and making good boundary with hedging or fencing. Pershall Lodge Copmere Lane Stafford. Application disposed of.

Cllrs. Reid and Jones abstained from voting on planning applications to avoid any conflict of interests due to duties within Stafford Borough Council.

219/24). Any Other Planning Matters: –
- Members noted the flooding statement from St. Phillips developers in relation to the Castle Street development, published by James du Pavey on social media. It was agreed that these concerns should be monitored and reported where appropriate. Cllr. Perren noted the intention of the Flood Action Group to reform and undertake this role, which can be fed back to the council.
