March 19th 2025
A meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee was held on March 19th 2025, at Eccleshall Community Centre at 9.00pm following the Parish Council meeting.

64/25). To approve the minutes of the Planning Committee held on 5th March 2025:
The minutes, which had been previously circulated, were agreed and signed.

Cllr. Jones abstained from voting on planning applications to avoid any conflict of interests due to duties within Stafford Borough Council.

68/25). Any Other Planning Matters: –
Cllr. Gosling noted that the Principal of Bishops Lonsdale Academy had raised concerns with him regarding the proposal by Bloor Homes and the potential for the development to include a new primary school. She advised that they had not been in contact with the school and the school is not currently operating at capacity and has room for further building expansion if required. Cllr. Gosling will feed back to the Principal that he has made the parish council aware of this and that the principal should ensure that the County Council are clear on this position so that any assessment of need based on developer enquiries are accurate.
