- Response to Stafford Borough Council’s call for Local Green Space sites:
Members considered land that would be suitable for nomination, in line with the criteria that the areas need to be near the community it serves, hold local significance (this could be beauty, recreation, historical, richness of its wildlife) and are not extensive tracts of land.
- It was resolved to submit the following sites for consideration:
- Green space to the front of Overton Manor
- Green space to the front, side and rear of Sancerre Grange, incorporating the balancing pond
- Large triangle of land at the top of Kerry Lane
- Green space in Croxton to the rear of the church car park
- Green space in front of the well, B5026 Croxton
- Town meadow area from the lodge to the cricket club/rear of church
- Water meadow off Shaws Lane, opposite Overton Manor
- Copmere picnic site
