February 4th 2026

A meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee was held on February 4th 2026, at Eccleshall Community Centre at 7.30pm.

Apologies were received from Cllrs. Jones, Reid, Gosling, Hall, Ryan-Bloor and Kean.

There was no public participation.

  28/26). To approve the minutes of the Planning Committee held on 21st January 2026

The minutes, which had been previously circulated, were agreed and signed.

  29/26).  Planning Decisions of Stafford Borough Council:

25/41034/HOU – Two storey side extension. Bay window to front. Chimney to side.

Balcony at rear. Open sided covered front porch. New House 62A Stone Road Eccleshall. Approved.

 

25/41599/PAGR – Prior Approval – Construction of an agricultural storage building. Land At The Hollies Pershall. Refused.

It was noted of interest, and in the context of the current large planning applications in progress, that the above application was refused ‘By reason of its substantial scale, isolated roadside location and consequent visual prominence within an otherwise open field, the proposed agricultural building would unacceptably harm the visual amenities of the area. The proposal is therefore contrary Policies E2 (d) and N1 (g) and (h) of The Plan for Stafford Borough.’
