A meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee was held on August 12th 2026, at Eccleshall Community Centre at 7.35pm.

The minutes, which had been previously circulated, were agreed and signed.

26/42429/NOTH – Upgrade existing pole mounted transformer pole to an ‘H’ pole. Cold Meece Landfill Blackflats Road. Permitted Development.

 

26/42326/HOU – Erection of detached garage in front garden. 16 Newport Rd Eccleshall. Approved.

Cllr. Jones abstained from voting on planning applications to avoid any conflict of interests with duties within Stafford Borough Council.

 

26/42465/FUL – Proposed agricultural building and access track. Land South West Of Halfway House Slindon. There were no objections to this application.

 

26/42439/LBC – Creation of new internal opening between 4 High Street and 2 High Street at first floor level. Installation of timber staircase and balustrading and making good of existing finishes. First Floor 4 High Street Eccleshall. There were no objections to this application in principle, as long as this agrees with the conservation officer (the report was not available on the portal at time of consideration).
