21/34231/FUL – Change of use of existing acupuncture clinic into residential property, including single and two storey rear extensions. 54 High Street, Eccleshall. No objection.

A meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee was held on August 18th, 2021, at Eccleshall Community Centre at 7.30 pm.

The minutes, which had been previously circulated, were agreed and signed.
105/21). Planning Decisions of Stafford Borough Council:
21/33901/FUL – Change of use of land to increase size of cricket pitch with new boundary fencing and replacement of existing fencing. Approved.

107/21). Planning Applications for consideration:-
Cllr. P. Jones abstained from voting on planning applications to avoid any conflict of interests as a current member of the Borough Council planning committee.
21/34346/HOU – Office to top of garden. Mulberry House, Cross Butts, Eccleshall. There were no objections to this application. The Committee resolved for the Clerk to note to SBC the concerns of the committee regarding any additional parking considerations which might impact on the local area, Cross Butts and Langdon Park specifically.
21/34387/HOU – Proposed carport and garden store. 3 Butterley Hayes, Horsley Road, Elford Heath. It was resolved to object to this application, as extensions to barn conversions are contrary to the National Planning Policy Framework.
21/34382/HOU – Proposed single storey orangery side extension (to replace existing conservatory). Pershall Cottage, Copmere Lane, Eccleshall. There were no objections to this application, but the committee resolved to note to SBC that previous extensions may result in the property exceeding 70% of the original dwelling, in accordance with Policy C5, (C) Extensions or Alterations of The Plan for Stafford Borough.
