A meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee was held on September 1st 2021, at Eccleshall Community Centre at 7.30 pm.

Members reviewed the final proposed Permanent Traffic Regulation Order that will change speed limits on a number of roads within the County area. Within the parish, this includes an extension to the 30mph limit from Castle St towards the Swynnerton Road on the A519 and a proposed 40mph limit ‘buffer zone’ extending beyond the Swynnerton Road junction.
The document was received, and it was resolved that there were no further comments to make on the proposal.

It was noted that the area left by the conifers will be considered for replanting in due course. Due to the acidic soil, rhododendron sp. or azaleas would be fit for purpose.
