A resident had written to express concerns in relation to planning application 21/34263/FUL, The Ferns, Croxton. These included the impact of further traffic on the access path which is bridleway 135 and whether there will be informal alterations to the path that would impact horses and riders using the track. They also noted a sign saying fp95 was closed. The Clerk has consulted with the County rights of way team who have subsequently inspected the area on the 5th October and noted:
- No issue with the bridlepath apart from the volume of water on the path which made it very muddy. They will reinspect in drier weather. Widening of the path is allowed if the landowner has approved it, but alterations to the surface does require ROW permission
- There was no closure signage in place when the inspector visited, but there was evidence of signs being in place. ROW confirmed the path was not closed by legal order.
The Clerk will feed this information back to the resident.
144/21). Accounts for payment:
Authorisation was sought for payment of the following accounts:-
