There were no further applications to consider.
167/21). Any Other Planning Matters: –
To consider allocation of support by the Clerk to the Community Centre to explore funding opportunities earmarked within the s.106 monies for Sports provision:
The S.106 agreement in relation to 15/23396/FUL states under section 6 for Sports Contribution the sum of £38,441.00 for ‘sports courts and/or halls provision to be spent on the Eccleshall Community Centre within the catchment area of the Development’. The Clerk has contacted Cllr. Pert to request support in identifying suitable projects and advice in how these funds can be accessed. It is clear that this will not be straightforward and may require a business plan to put forward a case for funding of an appropriate resource. The Council resolved for the Clerk to support the Community Centre in exploring this opportunity. It was also suggested to explore if there is any option for park of the car park to be converted to a multi-use sport area, with appropriate surfacing and court markings. The opportunity may link to the Council’s objectives to provide facilities for young people. If Cllr. Pert is unable to provide guidance, the Council agreed to go directly to the relevant Borough Council department to ask for support.

No correspondence has been received.
169/21). Date and venue for next meeting:
Wednesday December 1st, 2021, 7.30pm at Eccleshall Community Hall, pending any changes to current government advice.
