A meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee was held on January 19th 2022, at Eccleshall Community Centre, at 9.00pm.

large limbs due to its the nature of its species, age and size. It has outgrown its location and overhangs several footpaths, a parking area and road. The customer wishes to preserve the safety of his local community by removing the tree and has requested the application to be made.

21/34767/HOU – Removal of the current modern automatic gates, rebuild the boundary wall forward of existing position in like for like materials. Replace the wrought iron gates with new gates. Associated landscaping to remove the secondary driveway and return to garden. In conjunction with 21/34768/LBC. Garmelow Manor, Lane to Elford Heath, Stafford. No objection to this application but request that highways are consulted for its opinion.
21/35042/HOU – Proposed detached garage. Appledene, Slindon Road, Slindon. No objection to this application but notes the application includes cavity wall construction and as such wish to request it is not considered for future conversion to a dwelling.
21/35012/HOU – Alterations to rear extension and porch. Chatcull House, Chatcull Lane, Chatcull. No objections.
21/34591/HOU – Erection of garden shed, incorporating a small greenhouse. 49 High Street. No objections.
21/35138/REM – Residential development for up to 2 dwellings appearance, landscaping, layout, scale the outline was not an EIA. Former Eagle Inn Car Park Newport Road. Objected due to the excessive scale and mass of the proposed dwellings with respect to the adjacent properties. In addition, there is insufficient specific information provided which is required as part of the conditions of the outline planning approval.

10/22). Correspondence: –
Overton Manor – the committee was advised that the residents association were making progress with the property management team to address the various issues on the development and recently had a productive site meeting with the new site manager. This included plans to address a number of landscaping issues and larger/more bins by the play area.
Sancerre Grange – the Clerk is continuing to press Vistry (Bovis) on a number of issues concerning the development including the remedial works to the Badgers Croft open space, the review and replacement of dead trees and a date for installation of the safety fencing to the rear of the site. The Council has recently been advised that replacement trees are on order and a site visit is planned with senior team members to review the open spaces and outstanding works. The Clerk was asked to also find out more about the planned landscaping for the large open space adjacent to the Stafford Road.
