NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee will be held on Wednesday February 16th, 2022 following the Parish Council Meeting, at Eccleshall Community Centre.

21/34628/LBC – On the ground floor replace garage door and add adjacent window to the garage, replace main front door, make doorway from kitchen to dining room double, remove fireplace in sitting room. A meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee was held on February 16th 2022, at Eccleshall Community Centre, at 9.15 pm.

27/22). Planning Decisions of Stafford Borough Council:
20/31862/OUT – Outline application for development of up to 13,700 square metres employment floor-space (Classes E1(g)(iii) , B2 and B8) – To include access all other matters reserved. Land West Of Raleigh Hall Industrial Estate Sturbridge Lane, Eccleshall. Approved.
20/33254/COU – Change of use from agricultural land to a secure dog field consisting of two fields both with an area for a gravel car park for a maximum of two cars. The fields will be secured with deer fencing with wooden posts around the perimeter Land North Of Brick Kiln Farm Blackwaters Road Offley Hay Stafford. Withdrawn.

Cllr. P. Jones abstained from voting on planning applications to avoid any conflict of interests as a current member of the Borough Council planning committee.

It was agreed to object to this application. The condition relates to the siting of the gate 5m from the carriageway and the surface to be a bound material. The amended design does not include the 5m required to park the car off the highway when the gate is being opened to prevent obstruction, and the materials listed are granite setts, both of which are against Highways recommendations.

Cllr. Perren provided the Committee with an update on Overton Manor which is nearly completed for sign off. The tarmac is laid and will be tested in 2 weeks. Outstanding fencing has been erected and verge clearance works undertaken up to fp13. Road markings will be reinstated and once all complete, the compound can be dismantled, with turf and planting in its place.
