ECCLESHALL PARISH COUNCIL – PLANNING COMMITTEE MINUTES – March 2nd 2022

A meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee was held on March 2nd 2022, at Eccleshall Community Centre, at 7.30pm.

Apologies were received from Councillors Amos, Kean, Perren and Langford.

35/22).     Public Participation

There was no public participation.

36/22).    To approve the minutes of the Planning Committee held on 16th February 2022:

The minutes, which had been previously circulated, were agreed and signed.

37/22).     Planning Decisions of Stafford Borough Council:

21/34591/HOU  Erection of garden shed, incorporating a small green house. 49 High Street Eccleshall Stafford Staffordshire ST21 6BW. Approved.

38/22)     Planning Applications for consideration:-

Cllr.  P. Jones abstained from voting on planning applications to avoid any conflict of interests as a current member of the Borough Council planning committee.

21/35224/HOU- Conversion of existing garage loft space into ancillary occasional guest / relative accommodation (bedroom / living space and shower room). Lilac Cottage Lane To Elford Heath Stafford. There were no objections to this application, however the Council requests the addition of a condition that ensures the garage ground floor cannot be converted and will remain as a garage.

21/35238/HOU – Erection of timber conservatory to rear elevation. Fronsac Yates Yard Eccleshall.

There were no objections to this application.

There were no further applications to consider.

40/22).    Any Other Planning Matters: –

It was advised that a metal recycling business has been established at Cats Hill Cross on the A519, outside of the boundary of Raleigh Hall industrial estate. Advertising signage has been erected and skips are on site with evidence of use. The Clerk will be provided with detailed information and enquire with the Borough Council enforcement team whether planning permission should have been sought.
