NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee will be held on Wednesday May 4th, 2022 at 7.30pm, at Eccleshall Community Centre, followed by a meeting of the Enhancements and Events Committees.

A meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee was held on May 4th 2022, at Eccleshall Community Centre at 7.35pm following a meeting of the Footpaths committee.

22/35748/TCA – Eccleshall Conservation Area: Yew – Remove as tree is dying. The Grey House 76 High Street Eccleshall. CA Approved.
22/35700/TCA – Eccleshall Conservation Area: Rowan – Fell. The Old Vicarage

Cllr. P. Jones abstained from voting on planning applications to avoid any conflict of interests as a current member of the Borough Council planning committee.

21/35267/FUL – Change of use to form additional car parking areas. GRS Vehicle Logistics Centre Cold Meece Road Cold Meece Stone. There were no objections to this application but the Council wishes to make the following comments/requests:
- The Council notes the positive response to the original concerns and that the redesign is more sympathetic to the surrounding natural area.
- It is requested that there is an inspection of the trees and hedges 12 months after planting to ensure adherence to the planning design, the planting is of the outlined specification and is thriving.

81/22). Any Other Planning Matters: –
- To consider the current status and potential impact of the revised Local Plan on the EPC Neighbourhood Plan and any actions arising. The Clerk was asked to contact Stafford Borough Council to find out the anticipated timeline for issue of the draft Local Plan. Members requested that the Neighbourhood plan become a regular agenda item so that there is the opportunity to keep abreast of any developments. Once there is more information regarding the draft Local Plan, consideration could be given to the formation of a working group to ensure proactive engagement with any proposals.
