NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee will be held on Wednesday March 1st 2023 at 7.30pm, at Eccleshall Community Centre.

A meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee was held on March 1st, 2023, at Eccleshall Community Centre at 7.30pm

There were no decisions made since the last meeting

Cllr. P. Jones abstained from voting on planning applications to avoid any conflict of interests as a current member of the Borough Council planning committee.
22/36578/HOU – Two storey side extension. 1 Yew Tree Cottages Slindon Road Slindon. There were no objections to this application, however it was agreed to request that the materials and build complement the existing architectural details.
22/36538/HOU – Erection of single storey extension to garage, Erection of single storey extension to link main dwelling with existing outbuilding. Elford House Kerry Lane Eccleshall. There were no objections to this application.
22/36448/HOU – Erection of two-storey rear extension following removal of existing single storey rear extension, porch extension to front elevation following removal of 2no. bay windows to front elevation. The Cottage Butters Bank Croxton. There were no objections to this application.
22/36636/HOU – Two storey side extension to existing dwelling. Dropped kerb to front of property to give private parking space for two vehicles. 1 Greenway Eccleshall. There were no objections to this application with the comment that parking and deliveries will need to be managed to ensure access down Greenway is maintained.

22/36824/HOU – Proposed extension to existing garage to form gym and mud room with guest bedroom above; Oak framed porch to rear; Utility room extension; Extension to existing kitchen to form open living area together with associated works. The Mount 6 Stafford Road Eccleshall. There were no objections to this application but the neighbour objection was noted and request that the plans are amended to either remove the overlooking window or specify the use of opaque glass.

These are observed to be consultee responses to the consultation only and does not yet include any Borough Council response.
51/23). Correspondence:-
- Members were advised of correspondence just received regarding the poor condition of the open space on Sancerre Grange, adjacent to the Stafford Road and concerns regarding lack of adherence by the developers to the expected landscaping. It was agreed to add this to the next agenda to allow for time to review the landscaping specification in the planning applications document and to consider suitable action.
