61/23). Any Other Planning Matters: –
- To review the Vistry (Bovis) plans for landscaping on the Sancerre Grange estate following concerns about the current condition of the open space adjacent to the Stafford Road and consider referral to Borough Council enforcement.(15/22533/REM 18/29754/FUL):
Members reviewed the plans to consider the required specification that had been approved as part of the application. Whilst detailed landscaping information was available on earlier plans, later revisions did not contain this level of detail.
Members noted the poor condition of the land, the length of time it has been in this condition and safety concerns from a lack of boundary treatments. It was noted that an enforcement case was already open but no progress has been made.
It was resolved to write to the Stafford Borough Council Enforcement team to strongly object to the continuing lack of action by Vistry to undertake the necessary works, to request urgent action, and also to request details of the expected landscaping specification and boundary treatments.
