December 6th 2023
A meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee was held on December 6th 2023, at Eccleshall Parish Council at 7.30pm.

228/23). To approve the minutes of the Planning Committee held on 22nd November 2023:
The minutes, which had been previously circulated, were agreed and signed.
229/23). Planning Decisions of Stafford Borough Council:
23/37715/HOU- Retrospective application for new boundary treatments forward of the
front elevation and fronting the highway. Refused.
23/38293/NHPD – Rear extension – total length beyond rear wall of the original dwelling 4.56m, maximum height 3.4m and eaves height 2.3m. 4 Usulwall Close Eccleshall. Consent not required.
23/38125/NOTH – Replace approximately 250m of existing open wire low voltage overhead lines with new ABC bunched conductor (highlighted pink on associated plan) and 7 associated wooden poles if required (like for like). Wrekin View D Poles Hookgate TF9 4QL. Permitted Development.

231/23). To consider any further applications:-
23/38346/HOU – Two-storey extension to existing dwellinghouse, demolition of garage, and erection of replacement car port with associated works. Ivy Cottage Cash Lane Garmelow. It was resolved to object to the application as the proposed extension exceeded 70% of the original dwelling, in accordance with Policy C5, (C) Extensions or Alterations of The Plan for Stafford Borough. It was noted that the design is overly imposing and not in keeping with the local character of the area.

It was resolved to approve the payments but cancel the renewal of CPRE membership at £60.00. Cllr. Reid is now a member of its committee and will be able to report back on any activities.

There being no further business, the Chairman declared the meeting closed at 7.40pm.
