A meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee was held on June 5^th 2024, at Eccleshall Community Centre at 7.30pm.

  117/24).  Apologies

Apologies were received from Councillors Perren, Feneysey, Ryan-Bloor, Kean, Hill, Reid and Taylor.

  118/24).  Declarations of Interest and Councillor requests for dispensation relating to items on the agenda:

There were no requests to receive, and no declarations of interest were made.

  119/24).   Public Participation

There was no public participation.

  120/24).  To approve the minutes of the Planning Committee held on 15^th May 2024

The minutes, which had been previously circulated, were agreed and signed.

  121/24).  Planning Decisions of Stafford Borough Council:

24/38839/HOU– Erection of a single storey front, single storey side, and two storey

rear extension and demolition an outbuilding to the rear. Thatch Cottage Eccleshall Road Sugnall. Approved.

24/38830/FUL – Variation of condition 2 ( revised access plan ) and 9 on 19/31282/FUL.

Brockton Hall Brockton Lane Eccleshall. Withdrawn Application.

24/39019/PAR – Proposed change of use of farm machinery maintenance garage to

a single storey dwelling. Pershall Farm Pershall Lane Eccleshall. Prior Approval Granted                                                           

23/38447/FUL – Create a horse menage on agricultural land, surrounded by post and

rail fence, sand surface over drainage stone. Chatcull Green Farm Chatcull Lane Chatcull. Approved.

23/37626/TCA – Eccleshall Conservation Area: Large Beech – Full dismantle.

Chestnut Tree – Pollard. Ash – Height reduction by approx. 15-20% and bring in lateral branch by between 10-15%. Large Chestnut – Full dismantle. Eccleshall Castle Castle Street Eccleshall. Approved.

  122/24)   Planning Applications for consideration:-

Cllr. Jones abstained from voting on planning applications to avoid any conflict of interests due to duties within Stafford Borough Council.

24/39114/FUL – Proposed single storey rear extension and link to outbuilding to form additional dental surgery and staff room. Eccleshall Dental Practice 6 Castle Street Eccleshall. There were no objections to this application. It was however noted that additional storm and foul waters disposal need to be shown so this does not impact on flood levels locally.
