- Members noted the response from County Council Highways to resident concerns about works along the Castle Street pavement to lay gas and electricity for the new development, specifically pedestrian and business access, and reinstatement requirements. This is being monitored by highways and once reinstated, will be subject to an inspection process over a period of time to ensure it has been completed satisfactorily. It was agreed that once the work has been completed, parish council members will inspect the area and refer any concerns back to highways for investigation. Whilst there has been no date specified for completion, if there is a delay to the receipt of replacement paving stones, there is the option of an interim reinstatement using tarmac, which would be replaced once the materials are available.
