A meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee was held on November 6^th 2024, at Eccleshall Community Centre at 7.30pm.

There were no requests to receive, and no declarations of interest were made.

 225/24).   Public Participation

There was no public participation.

 226/24).  To approve the minutes of the Planning Committee held on 16^th October 2024

The minutes, which had been previously circulated, were agreed and signed.

 227/24).  Planning Decisions of Stafford Borough Council:

24/39232/HOU- New double garage with conservatory and office at first floor.

9 Horsefair Eccleshall. Approved.

23/37539/PAR – Change of use of agricultural building to a single dwellinghouse

(Class C3) – Little Blore Farm Langot Lane Fair Oak. Prior Approval Granted.

24/39581/LDC – Change of use of agricultural building to a dwelling. The Ferns Ginger Lane Croxton. Approved.

24/39643/LDC – Lawful Development Certificate – Occupancy of dwellinghouse in

breach of agricultural occupancy condition (Condition 2 of Application 14406).

Badenhall Lodge Swynnerton Road Sturbridge. Approved.

24/39622/DCLB – Discharge of condition 8 on 21/34232/LBC. 54 High Street Eccleshall. Discharge of Condition.

228/24)   Planning Applications for consideration:-

Cllrs. Reid and Jones abstained from voting on planning applications to avoid any conflict of interests due to duties within Stafford Borough Council.

24/39749/HOU – Rear and side extension. Rock Cottage Cash Lane Garmelow. There were no objections to this application.

229/24).  To consider any further applications:-

There were no further applications for consideration.

230/24).   Any Other Planning Matters: –

• It was noted that an online meeting has been arranged for the 14^th November for representatives of Eccleshall, Chebsey and Yarnfield and Cold Meece Parish Councils to meet with Leigh Ingham MP to make her aware of concerns about the Meecebrook proposal.

231/24).   Correspondence:-

• The Council received correspondence from Lichfields, on behalf of St. Phillips, requesting a meeting with Parish council representatives in relation to a development proposal for housing immediately adjacent to the current active development off Castle Street, references 19/31613/OUT and 22/35728/REM. The council noted that the proposal is on land outside of the current settlement boundary as designated in the current Neighbourhood Plan and Local Plan for Stafford Borough. As there are no plans to amend the current boundary, the council resolved to contact Lichfields to advise this and therefore there is no need for any further discussion.

232/24).    Accounts for payment:-

Authorisation was sought for payment of the following accounts:-

All were in favour and the accounts will be paid accordingly. Cllrs. Taylor and Reid will process the approvals online.

 233/24)     Date and venue for next meeting:

Wednesday 20^th November 2024, at Eccleshall Community Centre, following a meeting of the Parish Council.

There being no further business, the Chairman declared the meeting closed at 7.40pm.
