A meeting of Eccleshall Parish Council Planning Committee was held on November 6th 2024, at Eccleshall Community Centre at 7.30pm.

The minutes, which had been previously circulated, were agreed and signed.

Cllrs. Reid and Jones abstained from voting on planning applications to avoid any conflict of interests due to duties within Stafford Borough Council.

230/24). Any Other Planning Matters: –
- It was noted that an online meeting has been arranged for the 14th November for representatives of Eccleshall, Chebsey and Yarnfield and Cold Meece Parish Councils to meet with Leigh Ingham MP to make her aware of concerns about the Meecebrook proposal.
231/24). Correspondence:-
- The Council received correspondence from Lichfields, on behalf of St. Phillips, requesting a meeting with Parish council representatives in relation to a development proposal for housing immediately adjacent to the current active development off Castle Street, references 19/31613/OUT and 22/35728/REM. The council noted that the proposal is on land outside of the current settlement boundary as designated in the current Neighbourhood Plan and Local Plan for Stafford Borough. As there are no plans to amend the current boundary, the council resolved to contact Lichfields to advise this and therefore there is no need for any further discussion.
