Exciting plans for Beech Road Community Park
The Parish Council held a successful drop in event on Weds 11th December for residents to view the fantastic proposal for refurbishment of Beech Road Community Park.
Designed to be accessible for children of all abilities and appeal to everyone – whether it is for children to come and play, or residents who just want a walk and to sit in the garden area – the council is really excited to be able to present its plans for the area.
The majority of project funding will be from Stafford Borough Council’s section 106 monies, which are ringfenced for leisure provision with the Parish. The park is owned by Stafford Borough Council, but will be leased to the Parish Council to allow for the refurbishment and ongoing maintenance.
Once the park is installed, the council will be working to develop the garden space with suitable planting schemes and raised borders. We would love our local businesses and garden experts to provide advice, materials or hands on help, so if you think you could be involved, email the Clerk: clerk@eccleshall.staffslc.gov.uk
Whilst we are keen to see this up and running as soon as possible, the realistic target is for completion by summer 2025.
