Parish Council Secures Lottery funding for Platinum Jubilee Celebrations
Eccleshall Parish Council is delighted to have been awarded £2,500 in support of the upcoming Platinum Jubilee Celebrations from the National Lottery Community Fund.
The Parish Council are planning a number of events over 4 days to include a skate park, inflatable fun area, a play bus (sponsored by James Du Pavey), a beacon lighting event, over 70’s afternoon teas and a Big Party on the Street on Sunday 5th June.
Many businesses and groups are also planning fantastic activities and a printed programme will be available when all details are finalised. You can also keep informed of all the plans on the dedicated jubilee website at:

Eccleshall celebrates the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
Eccleshall is planning to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with a range of events planned over June 2nd-5th 2022, including a ‘Big Street Party’ along the High Street on Sunday 5th June from 12-4pm.
Eccleshall Parish Council and local businesses and groups are excited to be running many activities for all age ranges.

Treasure hunt and barbecue
Mobile skatepark

Vintage Vehicle Parade

‘Fit for a Queen’ dinner

Over 70’s Afternoon Tea parties (Eccleshall and Croxton)
Bouncy Castle and slides
Dance and Last Night of the Proms celebration evening

Sunday 5th June:
Thanks giving community church service
The Big Street Party (including the cake competition and cake auction)
There will be commemorative displays, art competition and exhibitions and street decorations throughout the celebrations.
